Fiji is a diver’s paradise, known for its crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, there’s something for everyone in Fiji. Here are some of the best diving spots to check out:

The Yellow Tunnel: Located in the Bligh Waters, the Yellow Tunnel is a unique diving spot known for its bright yellow soft coral and diverse marine life. The site is also known for its excellent visibility and vibrant coral reef.

The Great Sea Reef: Also known as Cakaulevu,this is the largest barrier reef in the South Pacific and is known for its incredible variety of coral and fish. The site is home to over 1,000 species of fish as well as a wide variety of coral.

The Great Astrolabe Reef: This site is located off the coast of Kadavu Island, and is home to a variety of marine life, including colourful coral, schools of tropical fish, and even sharks. Some of the unique species that can be found here include manta rays, and unique species of sharks such as the Grey reef shark.

Beqa Lagoon: Beqa Lagoon is known for its vibrant coral gardens and the variety of fish that can be found here. Some of the unique species that can be found here include parrotfish, surgeonfish, and different species of wrasse, like the Blue-green Chromis.

Great White Wall: Located in the Bligh Waters, the Great White Wall is a must-see for any diver. This spot is known for its strong currents which makes it an ideal location for drift diving. Here you can find a variety of marine life including sharks, tuna, and barracuda, as well as unique species such as the Giant Trevally.

Coral Coast: The Coral Coast offers a variety of dive sites, from shallow reef dives to deeper drift dives. The area is known for its abundance of hard and soft corals, as well as a variety of marine life including schools of snappers and fusiliers and the occasional sightings of Giant Trevally, Napoleons and even Manta rays.

Matagi Island: Matagi Island is a small island located just off the coast of Viti Levu, it’s known for its crystal clear water, and the variety of marine life that can be found here, including schools of batfish, schools of barracuda, and the occasional sightings of grey reef sharks and Hammerhead sharks.

Taveuni Island: Taveuni Island is known for its diverse marine life, from small reef fish to larger pelagics. Some of the species that can be found here include schooling jacks, schooling mackerel, colourful nudibranch and the occasional sightings of schools of hammerhead sharks.

Lomaiviti: Lomaiviti is a group of islands located in the east of Fiji, the area is known for its crystal clear water and the variety of marine life that can be found here, including schools of anthias, schooling snappers, and the occasional sightings of Eagle rays and Manta rays.

Gau Island: This is a remote island located in the north of Fiji, it’s known for its healthy coral and diverse marine life, including schools of reef fish, turtles, and the occasional dugong. It is also known for the big schools of Dogtooth tuna and schools of barracudas that can be found here.

Makogai Island: This island is located off the coast of Viti Levu and is known for its diverse marine life, including schools of reef fish, turtles, and even the occasional dugong. It’s also known for the large population of sea snakes that can be found here, an unique experience for divers.
