In our last blog post, we discussed ‘What is Service Learning’ and how it can benefit the community, students and educators. This week, we are looking at the 5 Stages of Service Learning. By following these stages, students will become aware of social issues, investigate the best ways to approach the problem, come up with a solution and reflect on their actions. The stages are also a great way for teachers to add structure to their service learning projects and make sure their students are understanding the value of their actions.
