COMPLETE REAL PROJECTS

Throughout your internship you’ll be completing one project each week that helps a local organisation solve an actual problem. Since we work with real partners, real, valuable projects will be assigned to you. This means that the types of projects you could work on will vary. We aim to match you as closely as possible with an organisation and a task that aligns with your personal career goals. See below for some of the projects you could work on during your internship.

LESSON PLAN

Teachers often need help creating new lessons for students to keep them engaged. You’ll work with a local teacher to identify a lesson topic, then conduct research into the lesson topic and how to create a lesson. Finally, you’ll set up a lesson plan with additional resources.

FUNDING PROPOSAL

Educational programs require funds to set up educational resources for students, whether it’s sports equipment for a high school or computers for adult education classes. You’ll work with a local organisation to set up proposals for funding an educational resource they need.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Safety is an important part of educational programs. Work with a local organisation to identify their safety requirements and help them set up safety policies and implementation guidelines. This might include developing risk assessments, emergency plans and first aid kits.
