Volunteer Travel for the Slightly Older

Many people assume that if you’re over 30, you’re too old to volunteer overseas. With Global Vision International this is not the case at all! GVI welcomes people of all ages and we find a team of mixed age volunteers makes everyone’s individual experiences even more diverse and rewarding. So if you’re tired of trawling the web for volunteer projects and finding that they are only offered to people aged 18-30, you have come to the right place!

Our office staff will be able to point you in the direction of the program most suited to your requirements. If you would prefer not to be camping on a beach or be put amongst larger groups, our selection of projects where the facilities are of better quality and the group size is smaller may be for you. Also, if you have a particular skill you want to put to good use, GVI has a range of projects that could use your knowledge. So if you’ve been a teacher for 20 years and want to use your teaching skills to help communities how about joining our community expedition in Mexico or teach indigenous children in Peru?
