GVI VOLUNTEERING

Volunteer Vacations

GVI has spent the last 14 years building community development and environmental conservation projects around the world.  Since we run our own projects, you can come and contribute for a short time on volunteer vacations, knowing that we will continue to run these projects for the long term. GVI's volunteer vacations abroad are a once in a lifetime experience that fits your schedule, call us an we'll help you combine a great vacation with some very worthwhile volunteer work.

Volunteer in Africa

Volunteer in Africa and work on some of the world’s most important conservation and community development projects all over Africa.  Find yourself tracking big game through the bush, or building a library in a township or diving in the crystal blue water of the Indian Ocean.  Volunteer in Africa with GVI and experience some of the most amazing places and richest cultures in the world. We have teaching, childcare, wildlife and conservation volunteer programs in South Africa, Kenya, the Seychelles and many more locations. Long Term volunteering and short-term opportunities are also available to volunteer in Africa. Visit our volunteer in Africa country page to see all the great projects we run in Africa.

Volunteer Travel

Volunteer travel with GVI and play a crucial role in international conservation and education projects. You can volunteer abroad from 1 week to 2 years in more than 25 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe. Volunteer travel with Global Vision International (GVI) offers the chance to play a vital role in pioneering programs as a work and travel volunteer. Search for volunteer travel program!

Volunteering Abroad

Volunteering abroad has become a great way for travelers with little time, to give back to people and ecosystems in need.  The tricky part is that many program operators work exclusively through partners on the ground, which leaves many of these programs inconsistent with regards to quality. At GVI, we see volunteering abroad as an opportunity to plug in short term volunteers to solve many on the ground community and environmental issues.  So we have spent the last 14 years building an infrastructure, which allows us to run our projects long term, while using temporary volunteers to accomplish the majority of our efforts.

Volunteer Abroad

Join volunteering abroad programs with GVI in Australasia, Africa, Latin America, Asia and even in Europe! Our volunteer abroad programs enable you to play a vital role in pioneering volunteer abroad programs worldwide. GVI volunteer abroad programs are available from 1 week up to one year. Play a crucial role in international conservation and education projects, and search for a volunteer abroad program now...

Volunteer Abroad Programs

We run over 100 volunteer abroad programs that are consistently amazing. How do we know this? Because we built them. We are globally renowned for the sustainability of our projects and for providing inspiring experiences. The places you stay on our volunteer abroad programs are home to some of the most remote and pristine environments in the world. Our volunteer abroad programs are designed to adapt to the communities’ most urgent needs, from education to construction, to conservation. We include the local community members in our efforts and decisions, fostering these relationships to build stronger, healthier communities for the future.
