Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

The meeting point is Galaxidi - a small village in central Greece, on the northern coast of the Gulf of Corinth. If travelling by air volunteers should get a return flight to and from Athens. From here you can take a bus to Itea (17 km from Galaxidi) and then another bus to Galaxidi. Alternatively you can travel to Patra by ferry and then take a direct bus to Galaxidi.
