Mavrovouni is located in the center of the Bay of Lakonikos in southern Peloponnese. It is close to Gythio, a charming harbor town with a long beach promenade, brightly colored fishing boats, and typical Greek architecture. Mavrovouni’s beach is 3 miles long and has several campsites and a few small shops.
