Jalova

Surrounded by a protected rainforest and the Caribbean Sea, GVI’s research station in Jalova is a location like no other.  Located in the beautiful Tortuguero National Park, you will share this home with the largest nesting colonies of Green Turtles in the world and diverse rainforest wildlife.  Because there are no roads to Jalova, to reach base you must travel down stunning tropical canals by boat or canoe.
