Application Process
Choose from a range of life-changing internship options overseas.
All interns receive specialist support from our global offices. Please let your GVI coordinator know the focus you wish to concentrate on, the training and experience you wish to gain, and the duration that you would like to join the program for, and they will guide you to the most relevant internships and assist you in completing your application.
Applications are generally reviewed and assessed within two working days and you will be informed of the outcome via phone or email. All applications are considered on merit and on a first come first served basis. Places are limited, so please understand if you are initially rejected or offered an alternative date to that on your original application.
If your application is successful, you will receive pre-departure information, a training manual and a field manual specific for your internship. Your GVI coordinator will also be on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have prior to joining the program.
Full details of training and hours of experience and study are available for applicants who wish to use the course as a work placement for their year abroad whilst at university.
