Volunteer Travel in Zambia
Anyone who wants to volunteer overseas in the true African wilderness should look no further than the wide expanses of forests, savannah and marshland in Zambia. This landlocked country in Southern Africa has some of the most magnificent natural scenery in Africa, which includes meandering rivers, beautiful national parks, and a number of spectacular waterfalls, such as the famous Victoria Falls. Volunteering in Zambia will take you to explore such landscapes and see some of its beautiful inhabitants on your way, including buffalo, hippo and giraffe.
Volunteer travel in Zambia will also take you to meet some of the country’s warm communities. Despite the spectacular scenery, much of the population of Zambia lives in urban areas as rural areas often have a lack of access to employment, education or adequate healthcare. Volunteering with GVI in Zambia will take you to help these rural communities of Zambia and address the concerns of their community children.
