Safari Field Guide Courses

If you love African wildlife and would enjoy sharing this with others, come and join one of GVI’s safari Field Guide courses in South Africa.

These are fully accredited by FGASA (Field Guides Association of SA) and students can gain qualification at various levels. Our experienced instructors will introduce you to all aspects of field guiding and share their knowledge and passion for everything from the smallest insect or plant to the famous ‘big 5’ animals, and how the entire ecosystem is inter-dependent. Courses are run from 14 days to a year and students are immersed in the bush at our training camps, all situated in or near to established ‘big 5’ game reserves.
