What's Included

Manuals that provide detailed notes on all topics covered during the course (FGASA & IHS approved); tuition, including guest speakers; ammunition and shooting assessments; FGASA registration and exam fees (Level One); a six-month placement at a game lodge for practical experience, with regular follow-ups by the staff.

What's Not Included

International flights, medical and travel insurance, visa, uniform, South African drivers licence, personal kit, spending money.

The Booking Process

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to and from Oliver Tambo International in Johannesburg (JNB). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
