Another Twenty Two Weeks to Go
It’s already the end of the second week and I have got another twenty two to go. The first couple of days were all about integrating a new routine, new place and new faces and now I have had some time to settle into life at ACJ.
There is never a dull moment and even with a full house, there are still ways to find places for some quiet time. This environment is such a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds and ages.
The kids and the school teachers, staff and volunteers are all here for the purpose of improvement and moving forward. In just under two weeks, it’s so much fun to see that what once made me very nervous, is now very comfortable and relaxing. Before each class, I would get a mild case of stage fright and worry about the next block of time, now I just feel really at ease and look forward to these moments.
I feel I have grown so much already that I know my overall growth after twenty four weeks will be nothing short of astounding, Watch this space!
