Our Partners
The Indigenous projects undertaken in Latin America simply would not function without volunteer money; it's as simple as that. Without the physical presence of the volunteers, or the money generated through GVI invested into the projects, almost 1,000 children would not receive the education they are receiving from the volunteers, nor would they receive fruit, school materials, food, celebrate birthdays, or even be at school. Nor would around 50 locals in the countries we work in be employed, directly or indirectly, without the GVI volunteers.
Dominic Williams, Phoenix Project Director, Central America , 2006
GVI works in partnership with international charities and non-profits and governmental organizations across the globe. By providing financial support, international recognition and volunteer support; GVI help our partners’ to achieve their critical aims and objectives. GVI realizes that every organization has different requirements, and though some require minimal support, others require us to provide them with a well-structured, implemented expedition which includes equipment and staff. In today's competitive world of corporate charities, small organizations often struggle with fundraising and public relations. A GVI Volunteer Support Program is the solution. From small organizations to some of the most leading and prominent conservation and community development organizations in the world, GVI can provide the right support for you. Some of the organizations GVI has been chosen to work alongside include: The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund (International), Rainforest Concern, The Endangered Wildlife Trust and the South African National Parks. br> br>If you are interested in receiving well informed, enthusiastic volunteers from all over the world please email Chris Ash at chrisash@gvi.co.uk for more information.
