All Global Vision International staff are experienced and highly knowledgeable when it comes to volunteering. Our network of 150 field staff and representatives in more than 30 countries have taken volunteer vacations (many with GVI) and traveled themselves, so have a fantastic and in-depth knowledge about volunteer projects abroad and teaching projects. We can provide up-to-date and accurate information about the projects, destinations, and things to do and see in the project destinations, as well as advice about what to take during your volunteer vacation and what to do if any travel issues arise. GVI work hard to ensure each individual on a volunteer vacation has an exciting, rewarding and safe experience.

Ross Deans - Latin America Field Regional Coordinator
After desperately saving to join GVI’s expedition in South Africa Ross made it out there in January 2007. Loving every second he successfully applied for the internship and relished in the opportunity to contribute further to GVI’s work and learn more about the organisation. Travelling to Ecuador and seeing the GVI Amazon expedition and teaching project in Otavalo has reinforced Ross’s respect and commitment for GVI.
With a background in the arts and a degree in Graphic design his path has changed somewhat throughout life. Still enthusiastic about creative mediums a love for travel and enthusiasm for conservation has stolen the limelight!
Now working for GVI in the UK, Ross enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and helping people to get involved and make a difference.
