All Global Vision International staff are experienced and highly knowledgeable when it comes to volunteering. Our network of 150 field staff and representatives in more than 30 countries have taken volunteer vacations (many with GVI) and traveled themselves, so have a fantastic and in-depth knowledge about volunteer projects abroad and teaching projects. We can provide up-to-date and accurate information about the projects, destinations, and things to do and see in the project destinations, as well as advice about what to take during your volunteer vacation and what to do if any travel issues arise. GVI work hard to ensure each individual on a volunteer vacation has an exciting, rewarding and safe experience.

Sam Lilley - Field Regional Coordinator Africa
Sam developed a passion for travelling at an early age and has been lucky enough to live in several countries throughout her life. Sub Saharan Africa had always been top of her 'places to visit' list, so when she discovered the GVI Wildlife Research Expedition in South Africa she signed up on the spot. The experience was truly life changing and over the next few years she spent much of her time and the majority of her student loan travelling between the UK and the Karongwe Private Game Reserve.
After completing a BSc in Psychology at The University of Leeds, Sam made the move to Africa permanent in July 2007. She has fallen in love with the animals, the people and the countries and is looking forward to sharing the African experience with others.
