Global Vision International work with local charities, government bodies and community organizations across the world, helping them to find volunteers to work on a wide range of worthwhile and vitally important projects.

We send more than 2500 people overseas every year to work alongside these projects and help them continue their good work. Our international network of over 150 field staff ensure your peace of mind, cultural orientation, in-depth training and 24 hour support throughout your stay. Expeditions

Join a group of adventurous and like-minded individuals from 5 to 20 weeks as a member of an international research team.

Live in some of the most dramatic and remote locations on earth, and gain practical field work experience. Run in conjunction with governments, world agencies and pioneering charities, GVI supplies all science and expedition staff as well as the technical equipment to ensure the validity of these programs well into the future. Former expedition members benefit from a Careers Abroad service.

Ethical Vacations

Many people increasingly desire to travel off the beaten track whilst doing something meaningful with their time off.

An ethical vacation with GVI offers a great opportunity for families, individuals and groups who may not have much time to spare to experience a destination and or activity whilst doing something worthwhile and incredibly rewarding. For those wanting to do more than a standard volunteer program, Global Vision International also offer various combination options.

Opportunities exist to work in several countries on similar programs, or you can try your hand at different types of programs in one location, or better still you can do both and experience a variety of programs in different countries.

Accomodation Upgrades

GVI actively encourages as many people as possible to volunteer so if all that is putting you off is the rouging it aspect you now have no excuse!

All GVI projects have been set up to provide the lowest costs possible for volunteers and as such accommodations are mostly of a basic standard, shared and with local host families. However certain projects offer the chance to upgrade your accommodations to provide you with private rooms, a hot shower, a larger menu choice and much more.

Internships

Participating on a GVI Expedition you give you the training and hands on experience you need to apply for a GVI internship or field positions.

As well as the enjoyment and training that you gain by joining an Expedition, these positions offer valuable opportunities to further your training, increase your hands on field experience, learn a new language or simply enjoy working abroad.
