Visa Support
Depending on your personal circumstances and the country or countries you are traveling through, you may need to arrange one or more visas for your trip. For travelers from the United States and Canada, GVI has partnered with CIBT, the Global Visa and Passport Professionals, to provide a customized service to help you prepare for your GVI program. CBIT can help you apply for (or renew) a passport, and provide all the assistance needed to arrange the visas you need to arrange before yo travel.
Please consult your program field manual for advice from GVI staff as to which visa we recommend for travel. Please also note that in some countries GVI have multiple programs with different visa requirements. If in doubt, please contact GVI.

Immigration rules and regulations can and do change without warning, so you should always consult the relevant embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission before traveling. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa(s) for the duration of your trip, and neither GVI nor CIBT can be held responsible if you are unable to join your program as planned due to visa issues.
