What's Included
Full accommodation, one week Spanish course, eight nights home-stay accommodation in Quito (while doing Spanish), all necessary training. GVI’s Pre-departure support and discounted services, 24 hour emergency phone, 24 hour in country support
What's Not Included
International flights, visa costs, medical and travel insurance. Travel from Quito to the project site is not included. You will need US$410 for the return flight, plus US$15-20 to get to the project site and there is a $110 park entrance fee.
The Booking Process
Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information
Volunteers should get a return flight to and from Mariscal Sucre Airport in Quito (UIO), where you will spend a week studying Spanish. The flights to the islands will be booked for you in advance and you will need to pay for these in cash during your week in Quito.
