What's Included

Pre-departure support and discounted services, All food and accommodation when with the host family in Otavalo , Packed lunches are provided for when working in the communities, GVI secondary school scholarships for 2008/2009, Transport to and from the communities, Airport pick up and drop-off, One night of hotel accommodation for the first Saturday night, Welcome supper on the Sunday, All in country 24 hr support, Criminal Records Bureau check for UK participants, 24 hour emergency phone.

What's Not Included

International flights, medical and travel insurance, personal kit, and spending money.

Once GVI receives your application form, one of our experienced regional coordinators will give you a call to find out if you have any further questions, or simply want to find out more about volunteering. All GVI staff regularly visit the project sites, and have volunteered and travelled themselves, so have an in-depth knowledge and boundless enthusiasm that ensures your application process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Arrival And Departure Information

Volunteers should get a return flight to and from Mariscal Sucre Airport in Quito (UIO). More detailed information will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
