Project Dates
| Start dates are available in the first week of each month (see application form for exact dates). The following dates - Feb 4th 2009 (Independence day), in mid April (7-10 days in mid-April is Sinhalese and Tamil New Year), Dec 23-26 and Dec 30-Jan 2 will be non working days. All days noted above volunteers will not be able to stay at the project site as all project staff will be on leave or attending the above mentioned programs. When possible volunteers will be invited to join the programs but if this is not possible volunteers will be offered a cash payment of Rs. 1500/day for the above days for alternative accommodation/meals (not at site). |
