Located between the desert and the Peruvian Andes, lies Peru's second largest city, Arequipa. Arequipa is a 1 hour flight or a 13 hour bus ride south of Peru's capital, Lima. You will live in Arequipa and travel to nearby communities to teach, some of which are located high up in the mountains.
