Campus Representative Program

We work with university/college students to educate folks on our sustainable development practices and programs.  In exchange, our participants earn the chance to travel with us, make a little bit of cash and get to be part of one amazing team!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a proactive individual to EXPLODE GVI on your university campus. Someone with a passion for global responsibility, who can promote GVI’s amazing work using quick wit and style!  You’ll promote not only an organization but an entire movement to get people involved in unbelievable travel.

You’ll achieve this by becoming the GVI Campus Guru!  You’ll learn a lot about how it works from behind the scenes working one-on-one with your Outreach Manager.  From visiting relevant campus organizations to chatting it up with your peers to holding awareness events and jumping in front of classes: you’ll gain a huge range of skills and experience.  And the best part: it’s up to YOU how you do it!  This is your chance to activate your creative mind…

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Spending money and points to a GVI trip so you can see what all the hype is about!  Upon successful completion of your employment you will receive a letter stamped with approval from our Headquarters indicating your participation in the program with an invitation to a GVI program site of your choosing.  Not to mention, by getting a foot in the door by being a Campus Rep, you’ll have a stronger candidacy to work with us full time after university!

This is an incredible opportunity to join a GVI volunteer project for a much lower cost or even free.  You could be off to Costa Rica to join our rainforest wildlife expedition, teach in a local Kenyan school, or even guide elephants as they readjust to their natural habitat in our sanctuary in Thailand!

• Confident and charismatic! Can you smile and chat to anyone?
• Have a passion for volunteering, travelling, conservation or kids?
• A proactive individual: do you have that ‘get up and go’ attitude?
• Flexible, organized and a great sense of humor!
