Dinosaurs in Perú!

Dinosaurs in Perú!

Last week's theme in Peru was Dinosaurs, much to the excitement of all of our kids, girls included! Our volunteers all had unique and fun lessons planned for the kids, so you can imagine our surprise when one of the 1st graders from Triunfo, Jerson, proceeded to give the volunteers themselves a lesson in dinosaurs! He is now the undisputed dinosaur expert at Triunfo! By the end of the week the kids had learned everything from when dinosaurs lived, to which were the biggest/fastest/meanest ones that ever existed, to how to make dinosaur masks and claws for art day. Here's a picture of one of our newest, youngest, and most mischievous students, Erick, with his favorite giant dinosaur book!
