There aren't the words to describe how it felt to be in Itzapa, Guatemala today on the first official day of school!!! Walking in and seeing all the classes with their national teachers and volunteer support was wonderful...the school running smoothly running as a team...but best of all lines and lines of smiles from ear to ear, those kids just love their new school, are proud to be there and are working their socks off - a fantastic day in the history of Phoenix! Here is Oscar, our new director, with grade one (Louise our grade one volunteer teacher is hiding round the corner!!).
