Location
The expedition takes you to one of the most remote and breathtaking regions of the world. Patagonia is a region of South America spanning both Chile and Argentina. The expedition will move to different locations within the area dependent upon project focus and weather conditions. During the winter the land is a challenging extension to the Antarctic and is a wintry and cold environment. The summer sees Patagonia transformed into beautiful grasslands, hills and mountains with snow capped peaks and glaciers. At least six weeks will be spent in mobile (tented) accommodation allowing you to discover the varied landscapes and climates of the wilderness region.

September 2008, preferably earlier to help with set up.

Description
Helping staff with expedition: involves logistics, base, science and community set up. Ensuring health and safety of the expedition members, teaching them skills and research methods, maintenance of vehicles and general smooth running of the camp.
